Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Glenwood Middle School – Howard County Public School System! We value our volunteers and the contributions they make to our students.

There are so many opportunities to volunteer – be part of a committee, help out at a school event, or volunteer at the school store for a couple of hours!

School Store

The School Store needs volunteers! Without volunteers, we can’t open the school store and the students really enjoy it. If you could help at all, please sign up using this link!

Help Power Up Teachers & Stock the Fridge for Professional Learning Day

While our students are enjoying a day off on Monday, October 9, the GMS staff will be engaged in a Professional Learning Day. Let’s power them up with coffee and breakfast sweets, and fill their fridge with refreshing beverages to bring a smile to their faces this fall. Sign up to contribute an item or two:

Confidentiality Training Course

According to HCPSS Board Policy, all parent volunteers must complete a Confidentiality Training Course about protecting the privacy of our students, staff, and schools.

Child Abuse/Neglect Training Course

Maryland State Law requires that Volunteers, including Parent Volunteers, complete annual Child Abuse Training prior to serving as a volunteer in any school. Child Abuse Training provides volunteers with the opportunity to learn about child abuse reporting procedures when abuse is suspected.

Thank you again for your participation in our school and for helping to ensure that each of our students remains safe.
